Our valued Treasurer and Director, Jaime Arbona, stepped down in 2011 due to work commitments. We wish to thank Jaime for an outstanding job he has done in the Treasurer and Membership Chairman positions, with help from Elizabeth Kline-Wong. We are pleased to report that your Board of Directors has elected Richard Watts as our newest Director, Treasurer and Membership Chairman. Richard has assured us that he is very comfortable with his new positions as well as being Collections Manager. The transition from Jaime to Richard was seamless and Richard has already made improvements to our accounting system and membership database. Thank you Richard! We are also pleased to report that Jaime will remain on Staff as our Mailing Chairman and liaison to our landlord, Inner Cities Broadcasting.
We are also thankful to Amnon Fisher for the time he spent on the Board as a Director at Large. In 2011, Amnon stepped down to pursue higher education. The Board elected long time CHRS Life member Philip Monego to fill the position of Director at Large. Philip brings a fresh perspective and new ideas to our Board. Thanks again to Amnon and Philip for their service.
