Attached are two photos of Grateful Dead sound-man, Dan Healy, signing my speakers as a part of the authentication process, at Radio Day by the Bay.  These speakers were used by Dan Healy for the Grateful Dead in their very early days when they rehearsed at the abandoned New Potrero Theatre in San Francisco and some of their earliest gigs. These speakers were Western Electric studio monitor speakers that were modified for use by the band. These speakers may be used in an upcoming exhibit this Fall. After that, it is hoped they will be donated to a museum as part of the Dead’s history.
