Join our CAPITAL CAMPAIGN to help the California Historical Radio Society (CHRS) build for the future!

CHRS celebrated our 50th anniversary in 2024, supported through dedicated volunteers who work to honor the Bay Area’s broadcasting legacy through our museum, archives, and educational programs.   To build for the next 50 years, CHRS has launched a CAPITAL CAMPAIGN to raise $1,000,000 to fund our ambitious plans to improve our museum exhibits, create multi-media resources, and expand our digital presence so our collections can be more accessible and interactive.

Your support will help CHRS transform our space into a state-of-the-art museum

  • Preserve History: Maintain and restore historic radio artifacts and archives.
  • Enhance Education: Expand workshops, exhibitions, and digital resources.
  • Foster Community: Celebrate the legacy of broadcasting, through signature programs and events.
  • Build for the Future: Transform our great room into an immersive museum space with new exhibits and a robust digital presence, and promote the future of the industry through thought-leadership and research.

Join our CAPITAL CAMPAIGN with your tax-deductible donation, and we will recognize your contribution in our museum, special events, publications, and programs to showcase your commitment to our cause. We’ve achieved our Phase One goal of $150,000 and are now working towards the Phase Two goal of $350,000 by the end of 2025.  Every donation, large or small, brings us closer to our goals, and inspires future generations. Thanks for your support!
