Professor Gordon Greb
Professor Greb entered radio in 1934 when he was only was 12 at KTAB and was active for more than sixty years in broadcasting. A pioneer of college education in broadcast news, he founded the State’s first university-level degree program in broadcast journalism in 1957 at San Jose State University. This interview was done at KRE after the 2011 BARHOF Induction Luncheon on October 15, 2011.

Ed Baxter
Ed Baxter, BARHOF Class of 2009, began at KGO as a reporter in 1976 on the morning shift. He then co-anchored the afternoon newscast for 21 years. In 2000 he replaced Jim Dunbar as co-anchor of morning drive. A winner of numerous industry honors, Baxter was a regular substitute for Paul Harvey on ABC Radio. This interview was recorded at LIVE! at KRE 2011 on July 16th.

Mike Cleary

Frank Dill
Frank Dill arrived in San Francisco from New York in 1963 after being hired by NBC’s KNBR to be an afternoon deejay and sports announcer. Frank had been a radio and television personality at WGR and WGR-TV in Buffalo, N.Y., for nine years. At personality-plus KNBR for 32 years as Morning Man, Frank was the perfect fit, both alone and with sidekick Mike Cleary. Frank is a member of the first BARHOF Class of 2006.This interview with Mike was recorded at LIVE! at KRE 2011 last July 14th.

Aaron Edwards
Best known for his 26 years as a KSFO newsman, Aaron was the brunt of many an on-air joke by Don Sherwood on the highly touted morning show, “The Sherwood Affair”. Aaron then made the successful transition to TV reporter for KGO-TV. Aaron is a member of the BARHOF Class of 2007. This interview was recorded on March 28th 2010, a bit less than 3 months before he passed away.
