SWAP MEET / SPECIAL PRESENTATION AT KRE, THIS SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 3RD – 9 AM – It’s time for another vintage radio swap meet at KRE. Rain or Shine. Remember there is NO seller’s fee at our events, although donations are most appreciated. Your membership must be current to sell. One time only sellers need not be members.

FEATURING the CHRS Electronic Flea Market! Look for lots of treasures among the items offered by CHRS. Everything is priced attractively to go!

ALSO the FREE Radio Magazine Giveaway Continues – CHRS still has lots of QSTs and other ham magazines, ARCs, SAMS Photofacts and more for you to take home… FREE! We will need some volunteers before 9 AM to help us move out the FREE magazines and the fabulous CHRS Flea Market items. Also, we could use some help manning the Flea Market and Museum store.

And a reminder about our new event policies:

1. The gate at KRE will be open no later than 8 AM.

2. At KRE and Foothill, sellers may drive in any time after the gate opens, set up tables and set up your radios for sale. But, be prepared to cover your sale items with a blanket or tarp until 9 AM. If any pre 9 AM arrangements between buyers and sellers are observed, the seller will be asked to leave.

3. So that the sellers are not disturbed when they are setting up, the selling area will be kept clear of buyers until 9 AM. At KRE buyers can mingle outside the selling area or in our building. At Foothill, sellers will set up in a designated area and buyers will mingle in a designated area, until 9 AM.

AFTER THE MEET – A Special Presentation – Hil Hampton presents, “The Bench”. His first 1 hour show will feature the restoration of his 1938 Zenith, model 6-S-229. Will this be a restoration contest winner? The DVD will spin Novovember 3, 2012 at KRE after the Swap Meet upstairs in our meeting room. Don’t miss this informative presentation.

THEN ON SUNDAY NOVEMBER 4TH – The Northern California Model T Club will be pulling in to the KRE parking lot with 10 or more vintage Model Ts. The T Club members will be given a tour of KRE. CHRS members are welcome to come by and check out these fine vintage automobiles. The Model T tour will start at about 10 AM. If you love classic cars, you don’t want to miss this.
