Radio and Equipment Donations

Donate radios, other equipment, or ephemera and artifacts to CHRS

Thank you so much for your interest in supporting the California Historical Radio Society! We greatly appreciate your generosity in helping us preserve the rich history of radio.

To help us evaluate your donation, please follow these steps:

1. Email Jaime Arbona: Please send an email to Jaime Arbona at [email protected] that includes clear photos of each and every item you would like to donate.
2. Provide the following details in your email:
   • Location of the equipment: Where are the items currently located?
   • Delivery capability: Are you able to deliver the equipment to CHRS, or would you need assistance with transportation?
   • Timeline: What is your preferred timeline for potentially completing the donation?

Once we receive your email, our collections committee will carefully review the information and assess whether the items are a good fit for our collection.  We will respond to you promptly with our decision and next steps.

We want all the gear to find a good home, so if we can’t take the items ourselves we will try to help you re-home your items, but nothing can be left at our building unattended, unannounced, or unapproved.
