The California Historical Radio Society (CHRS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization founded in 1974 to promote the preservation, restoration, research and publication of early radio, wireless communication, and broadcasting history.

Golden Star Radio Sign Restoration Campaign

CHRS is raising $25,000 to restore San Francisco’s historic Golden Star Radio sign, honoring the Tong Family’s pioneering role in Asian community broadcasting. Help preserve this iconic piece of broadcasting history.
