Donate radios, other equipment, or ephemera and artifacts to CHRS

Thank you so much for your interest in supporting the California Historical Radio Society! We greatly appreciate your generosity in helping us preserve the rich history of radio.

Please submit the form below with item details, including photos. Once we receive your submission, our collections committee will carefully review the information and assess whether the items are a good fit for our collection. We will respond to you promptly with our decision and next steps.

We want all the gear to find a good home, so if we can’t take the items ourselves we will try to help you re-home your items, but nothing can be left at our building unattended, unannounced, or unapproved.

As with many museums, our storage capacity is limited, so we cannot accept all donations. In the event we cannot accept something, we can generate a notice to several hundred Bay Area collectors advising them that the item needs a home. Interested parties will reach out to you directly.
