DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column] [vc_column_text css=””]This program is brought to you by the CHRS Board. \nCHRS is collaborating with Retro Roadshow to put on an amazing event around Sci-Fi\, radio\, broadcasting\, and vintage electronics.  We will begin with 45 minutes of presentation guiding attendees through the interconnected history of Science Fiction and Video Games.  Then there will be time for people to explore the exhibits which will feature a mix of 12 classic video game consoles and vintage personal computers paired with authentic CRT displays. \nRetro Roadshow is a hands-on pop-up museum celebrating vintage technology\, featuring a curated\, fully-functional collection of classic personal computers\, video game consoles\, handheld systems\, and other historically significant electronics. Equipped with bluetooth\, it’s so easy to listen to your own music through these wonderful 60+ year old antiques. And boy\, are these beauties easy on the eyes! I am\, fm\, all shortwave bands\, mechanically functioning record player that needs a new cartridge. Fully electrically overhauled. Comes with bluetooth. Amazing sound with four speakers \n2: mid 50’s Grundig with sliding front doors. Perfect finish.  AM FM with all shortwave bands\, fully electrically overhauled including refurbished record player. Comes with Bluetooth receiver. ( This is the perfect one that I did last week) \n3: Smaller mid 50’s Grundig console with top facing turntable. I am BEN FM\, electrically overhauled with mechanically turned up record player. Comes with Bluetooth receiver \n4: late 40’s\, early 50’s custom high Fidelity system in beautiful tiger Maple veneer. Comes with 15 in companion speaker. Craftsman tuner and amplifier. JBL 15″woofer. Absolutely beautiful piece of furniture and example of exquisite craftsmanship. \n5: very small silvertone console in American provincial styling. Record player with AM/FM. Very lightweight that will be the special of the day  \n6: Small Blaupunkt consollete with fold out front. AM FM with electrically overhauled electronics and record player. Comes with Bluetooth receiver. \n7: large mid-50s Grundig stereo console that has been electrically overhauled with record player\, functioning real-to-reel type player\, storage compartment stereo microphones\, the works. Beast of the system that has it all.  \n8: mid-50s Kuba in dark mahogany finish. Medium sized unit with front sliding doors\, AM/FM and refurbished electronics and record player. Comes with Bluetooth receiver. Beautiful glossy piano finish \n9:  Lastly there’s a handyman special. Small Grundig with lovely Danish modern cabinet with electronics that needs some work.
