Meet Sam who is one of our newest inductees in the Bay Area Radio Hall Of Fame as part of the Class of 2014. Sam will share radio stories from his distinguished broadcasting career and will also bring some Exclusive KBAY music CDs to give away. So\, come by and say hi to Sam. \nPhilip Monego will have his vintage restored Willys Jeepster on Park Street covered with signs directing car show visitors to Radio Central where they can see our cars\, see the Big Room at Radio Central\, and be able to buy CHRS merchandise. Also in the lot we will have some restored radios and other vintage stuff for sale. If you have any restored and working vintage\, kitchy radios or other items to be sold by CHRS\, please bring them by. \nIt’s a Yellow Shirt Day as we will need volunteers to act as docents and sales staff. So that the sellers are not disturbed when they are setting up\, the selling area will be sectioned off until 9 AM. At Radio Central buyers can mingle outside the selling area or in our building. People live in adjacent properties. So… \nRule #1 at Radio Central. PLEASE RESPECT OUR NEW NEIGHBORS AND BE AS QUIET AS POSSIBLE… ESPECIALLY EARLY IN THE MORNING. We do not want to make a bad 1st impression as everyone in Alameda has been very nice to CHRS. \n2. Set up no earlier than 8 AM. \n3. Cover your items until 9 AM. \n4. Any pre 9 AM commerce means buyer and seller will be asked to leave. \n5. Your Membership must be current to sell. \n6. One time only sellers need not be Members. \n7. There is No sellers fee… but donations are gladly accepted. \nAfter the swap meet we will have a short meeting mostly informational to answer questions and provide updates. \nAfter a lunch break… We will continue demolition of certain areas inside the building.
