DESCRIPTION:Join us at 2152 Central Ave. on September 19\, from 6-8 to hear from sportscaster Joe Starkey. \nJoe Starkey is a legendary broadcaster whose iconic voice has spanned five decades across the NFL\, NHL\, USFL\, NBA\, and college sports. Known for his memorable calls with the San Francisco 49ers—including Super Bowl broadcasts and the unforgettable “Catch II” by Terrell Owens—Starkey also served as the longtime voice of the California Golden Bears. His extensive resume includes play-by-play for the Minnesota Vikings\, Denver Broncos\, Golden State Warriors\, and multiple NHL teams\, including the Oakland Seals and San Jose Sharks.
