DESCRIPTION:Join us at 2152 Central Ave. on May 16\, from 6-8 to hear from business and tech reporter David Louie. \nTV reporters get at most a couple of minutes to tell a news story\, but for every one of them\, there are back stories — what happened behind the scenes that doesn’t get told. David’s going to share some of the memorable moments and anecdotes from his 50-plus years on Bay Area TV that span the 1970’s through the early 2020’s. \nYou probably know David from his decades on Bay Area TV. He joined the Channel 7 “News Scene” team back in 1972 during the Van Amburg\, Jerry Jensen\, and Pete Giddings era. He ended up retiring from the same station just over 50 years later\, a feat few can claim. Over those years\, he covered an estimated 12\,000 stories and worked under nine general managers and seven news directors.
