Join us at the California Historical Radio Society building in Alameda, CA, to hear a presentation with Andreas Koch, DSD pioneer and renowned founder of Playback Designs, and Dr. Frank Brenner of Linkwitz Lab.

Andreas and Frank will assemble a super system with a Playback Designs reference digital front end, and the latest Linkwitz Lab LX521.4MG “The Reference”  speakers powered with the all analog PowerBox 6pro NCore precision LX521 active crossover and amplifiers.

Will this be the best digital sound you have ever heard?

It should be noted that the same Linkwitz Lab LX521.4MG model that will be used at our event was featured in an article published by The Absolute Sound, “Addressing Issues with Audio Believability: An Experiment”. The experiment seeks to explore issues that can occur along the entire path of the recording chain to your ear/brain.

This in-person event is open to Audiophile Foundation members and the public. Registration is required. This event is limited to 40 seats, so register early to secure your reservation.

Carpooling is recommended.

To anyone who needs a ride or can provide one:  Members can visit our Event Rideshare Forum to arrange a ride to the event.  Non-members can email Contact@audiophilefoundation.org, and we will put you in touch with other attendees in your area.
