LIVE 105 NAMED LEGENDARY STATION OF THE YEAR 2026
The Bay Area Radio Museum and Hall of Fame (BARHOF) just announced that Audacy’s Live 105 (KITS FM) in San Francisco has been named Legendary Station of the Year for 2026. Live 105 launched in 1986, pioneering a modern rock format that built a loyal audience and left an indelible mark on the music and broadcasting industries. Join us for a Live 105 celebration at Radio Central in Alameda with some of your favorite Live 105 personalities on Friday, January 30th. The party begins at 5:30 p.m., with a program from Live 105 starting at 7 p.m., and then mingling and visiting until 10:00 p.m. Many Live 105 stars from the station’s 40-year history plan to be in attendance, and everyone is invited! Your ticket includes heavy appetizers. There will be a no-host bar.
