We are excited to continue our 1 on 1 interview series with Terry McGovern. Terry McGovern is a dynamic and accomplished performer whose career spans radio, television, film, stage, and voice acting. Known for his versatility, Terry began his film career with George Lucas, providing voices for THX1138 and delivering the iconic line “These are not the droids we’re looking for” in Star Wars. He also appeared in American Graffiti and played memorable roles in Mrs. Doubtfire and Nine Months. On television, he was a guest star on popular shows like Cagney and Lacey, Happy Days, and Newhart, and a regular on CBS’s Charlie and Company. As a voice actor, Terry brought to life the beloved character Launchpad McQuack in Disney’s DuckTales and Darkwing Duck, among many other projects.
