CHRS OLD WOOD GLOM

1940s
Old Wood Glom We
went to Webster's Dictionary for this one: In the Radio Community, a glom is where a bunch of guys show up, sometimes at a dark basement or garage, and buy everything there, either to have in their collection or sell at the next meet. Thanks to reporter Richard Look for the photos and story. |

We
have titled this "Old 1940s Wood" because of the types of
radios found here. We suspect, even know, that some collectors favor
certain eras or collect for just a few years and lose interest. Or die.
